Jeannie Austin

She was introduced to Baltimore Album quilt designs in 1980. She was ready for a new challenge. Combining her love of histories, her family's, her country's, and women's history, she "paints" with cloth and thread. She now designs her own blocks and uses traditional and non-traditional fabrics for her work. She will be teaching a Dimensional Applique workshop at the International Applique Society's Quilt Show and Conference in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas in May, 2001.
